leaving Li dao

Today for breakfast we had milk tea and lobo gao with an egg. At 8 o'clock we met the students in the classroom. We split into the groups from yesterday with one volunteer and each with a couple of students. Today we taught the kids English worlds like Mother, Father, Grandmother, Grandfather, brother, sister and etc. We also taught the how to sing two songs, "Mary had a little lamb" and "If you're happy and you know it". Because of the typhoon we had to leave today instead of saying a couple of more days so we had to say our goodbyes and we handed out candy and small figures that Jessica and Jonathan brought. We drove down the mountain in the rain and went to eat rice in a wood box. We then went to a rice museum and saw how rice is processed. Since the typhoon was huge we had to say at the rice place for about an hour. They had these small animal figures for 100 NT you could paint so Jonathan, Jessica, Georgina and me bought them to paint. I painted a cow, Jessica also painted a cow, Georgina painted a pig, and Jonathan painted a tomato guy. We went to McDonald's to eat, i had a Big Mac. We then went to the supermarket, arcade and department store next to McDonald's and bought stuff. Because of the typhoon our schedule is all thrown off so today we are living in Taitung Hostel for Teachers Public Workers.
